Poetry is a fascinating use of language. With almost a million words at its command it is not surprising that these Isles have produced some of the most beautiful, moving and descriptive verse through the centuries. In this series we look at poets who have shaped and influenced their craft and cement their place in our heritage. Of course the Brontë's are perhaps England's greatest literary family. To find one brilliant novelist in a family is extremely rare. But two? Three? The Brontë sisters, Charlotte, Emily Jane and Anne together with their brother Patrick are famed throughout the World. Their lives were short, their output really quite small buttheir influence and effect of generations since has been and continues to be immense. Almost forgotten amongst the literary jewels is another talent; that of poetry. Of course being Brontë's they were rather good at that too.
