Suzette has lived in the United States of America with her great love Nick and their son for more than twenty years. After seeing a documentary about Amsterdam, she realises that she is homesick for her birthplace, and longs to see her son Richard, with whom she hasn't had contact during all those years. How would he be doing? Back in Amsterdam, she puts together the puzzle that determined her life.
