In a hidden sanctuary in the Canadian Rockies, Anton Weiss's vampire descendants continue to stay one step ahead of their Grand Father's murderous rampage.
As their former affluent society continues to collapse, they are joined by other family refugees, and during the fight to survive, Gilles is pushed to his physical and mental limit, while Mark and Mina become pawns in a vicious game that has existed for centuries.
