A Goose ready to be cooked and a battered old hat are the ingredients that start this intriguing mystery for our friends Dr. Watson and Sherlock Holmes. After Sherlock casually astounds Watson with the amount of information he can gather about the owner of the hat from just examining it, the mystery escalates with the theft of an extremely valuable gem, the Blue Carbuncle. There has been a major crime and the goose and hat are both involved. As always, Sherlock uses his wits and keen intelligence to get to the bottom of everything but now without some harrowing escapes from danger.
