A personal look into the understanding of why most Veterans do not speak of their service. An attempt to bridge the gap of understanding within families that generate the unanswered questions. It is the family as well as the Veteran that carry the burden, suffer the loss and have to survive the end result of such conflict. All that have Honorably served pay a price. The horrors of War make no distinction between the branch of service or job description. Memories of what it was like to train for and then go to war as an everyday soldier. The things that happened then contributed to my being the person I am today.
