Over a period of two years Dan Hare interviewed more than three hundred people between the age of sixty five and one hundred to get an intimate look into their lives and a sense of the world from their vantage point. He wasn't looking for deep dark secrets, even though he got some, but insights into their experiences, and more importantly their interpretation of those experiences. Through a series of pointed and revealing questions Dan exceeded his expectations and shares their practical insights.

This is not written as a self help book, but it can be if you choose to use it that way. Yet it is much more, a human interest story with something for everyone. For the younger person there is a wealth of knowledge and insights into life's trials and triumphs from those who have lived them.
