Now two women and a man were standing there - quite frightened - and he wasn't even armed. A bag was held out to the somewhat older cashier. "Pack up all the cash!" came the short, brusque order. "Hurry up!" The cashier was so nervous that he dropped his bag on the floor. One of the bank robbers cocked the hammer of his revolver and the sound made the cashier more cautious.
