T大の入試当日。T大に行くことに乗り気でない様子の直樹を、試験会場まで見届けることにした琴子。ところが試験会場の入り口で、琴子は腹痛のためうずくまってしまった。琴子を病院へ連れてった直樹は、そのままT大の試験を受けなかったというのだ......。責任を感じた琴子が入江家を出ようとしたところを、直樹に見つかってしまう。そこで直樹は｢おまえといる方が刺激があって面白い｣と琴子と同じ大学に行くと語った It's the entrance exam day of T University. Kotoko decided to send him Naoki off to the exam classroom though he isn't very enthusiastic about going there. But upon reaching the entrance, Kotoko suddenly gets a stomach ache, and is unable to move. Naoki takes Kotoko to a hospital, and is unable to take the exam...Feeling responsible for it, Kotoko tries to leave the Irie household, but is caught by Naoki. There Naoki tells her "Life's more exciting with you around" and that he will go to the same university as Kotoko.
