《因梦集》包括《因梦集》和《小山集》两个集子。20世纪30年代，季羡林曾应约准备编一本散文集，命题《因梦集》，因故未果；后来特意将解放前的作品纂为一集，仍以"因梦"冠名。《小山集》收录作者从1991年至1994年所写的散文。
