Megan is a nurse at a hospital in London. One day Dakis, a grumpy elderly tycoon and one of her patients, makes an outrageous suggestion. "Can you pretend you are my mistress, and come back to Cyprus with me?" He wants to give his family a good scare after the way they all pretended to be so close to him when he was admitted to hospital. Megan reluctantly helps, but the hardest part is the way Theo, Dakis's son, looks down on her. Maybe she shouldn't care so much, but his beautiful lapis lazuli–colored eyes inexorably draw her to him!
