Anthony Trollope's short story Aaron Trow tells the story of a thrilling crime. Fugitive Aaron Trow attempts to snatch rich girl Anastacia's money. When he failed to get what he want, he brutally contuses her. The girl's fiance Fukai Leibniz comes to revenge. He and some local residents follow the trail of his whereabouts. Castro falls into the water, and is hit to the death in a paddle battle. The story is ended with a legend of the ghost of Castro. The arrangement of scenes and dialogues of the novel have struck a chord. There is always tension in the plots to attract readers. At the same time the author tells this legend, he also tries to guide the readers to explore topics of human nature.
