'After the Divorce' follows the story of Constantino Ledda, who after being wrongfully convicted of murder, accepts his fate to spare his wife, Giovanna, and their family from financial ruin. But when Giovanna divorces him and marries a cruel landowner for money, Constantino is left alone in Sardinia's harsh reality.
