Frank Frigenti is a Mafia figure whose exact deeds are hard to pinpoint. News accounts of the February 14, 1929 St. Valentine's Day Massacre link him to the mass murder. However, after his 1938 deportation from the United States "Tough Frankie" bragged of his exploits in Italy. His ex-wife Catherine told reporters in Brooklyn that Frigenti fictitiously believed many of the stories that he discussed as fact. By the mid-1950s he was a broken man, who'd collapsed from malnutrition in Milan.
