Something mysterious has happened to the small town of Silver Springs. The townspeople appear to be under the influence of a higher power and almost everyone seems to attend the mysterious church on the hill. The white-gloved Reverend appears to have an ominous aura surrounding him, but not as ominous as the glow emanating from the nearby lake.
