As a scholar living in the second half of the seventeenth century, Bernardino Ramazzini explored artisan shops to identify health threats and began an innovative path for a doctor. In 50 pieces, this work focuses on aspects mainly outside the area of medical interest. It examines an unknown or lesser-known Ramazzini, highlighting his positions often outside the current political correctness boundary. Along with an irresistible plea to comply measures that people do not fully follow even today, his works offer a merciful view of the time's injustices and envision some original findings outside the realm of medicine. Profound unconventionality always animates his work, which results in firm and witty criticisms of the time's medical practice and even ironically rude to his money-oriented colleagues.
