When earth witch Tara Kay returns to her family's land after the violent theft of her magical abilities, her return isn't as celebrated as she had hoped. In search of regaining her blood magic, she soon discovers her hometown isn't just unwelcoming, it's downright dangerous.

When Tara accidentally awakens her ancient Guardian from his five-thousand-year slumber, they must contend with their growing dark desires for each other.
