To live a righteous life in the eyes of God requires submission to His will at all times. To worship Him in spirit and in truth, without any doublemindedness.
No more serving two masters. No more serving other gods.
Is this possible in this dark world and with our fallen nature? It can be, and the author reflects on a path that can help those willing to achieve this goal.
