This book tells the story of a young boy who falls asleep under a tree, only to wake up in the middle of the night to find that his family has moved away without him. Caught in the rain, he encounters a sympathetic hyena who offers him a deal: if the boy agrees to learn the hyena's language and magic tricks, the hyena will help him survive. The boy accepts and becomes a shapeshifter with the newfound abilities. Together, they hunt for food in the neighborhood. However, the boy ultimately breaks his promise by revealing the hyena's secrets, causing the magic and language to disappear. The moral of the story is the importance of keeping promises. The book, titled Wacad Fur, was written by Mr. Mohamed Sh. Hassan, illustrated by Mukhtar Mudeey, and published by Scansom Publishing Company in 2014.
